Embarking on our 14th year, The Social Class aims to see young

people in the Marietta community:

* Develop the confidence necessary to be comfortable with themselves and others as they interact socially through school, athletics, work and family

* Apply what they have learned to set themselves apart as they navigate through an increasingly competitive and ever-changing culture

* Be equipped with the social skills necessary to establish and maintain positive personal and professional relationships

 

The Social Class is led by a team of 28 outstanding 9th-12th graders and myself! I am a proud alumna of Marietta High School and the University of Georgia.  At Georgia, I majored in Advertising and also met my husband, Mike.  We have been married for 27 years and have three children! Before launching TSC fourteen years ago, I was a stay-at-home mother. Previously, I worked in the Strategic Events department at The Coca-Cola Company.  My hope in starting The Social Class was to fill a need for the young people of our community to glean the invaluable life skills of a modern cotillion, while enjoying a fun social experience with their peers.  Thank you so much for entrusting your children to me!
