Embarking on our 12th year, The Social Class aims to see young

people in the Marietta community:

* Develop the confidence necessary to be comfortable with themselves and others as they interact socially through school, athletics, work and family

* Apply what they have learned to set themselves apart as they navigate through an increasingly competitive and ever-changing culture

* Be equipped with the social skills necessary to establish and maintain positive personal and professional relationships

 

The Social Class is led by a team of  25 outstanding 9th-12th graders and myself! I am a proud  alumna of Marietta High School and the University of Georgia.  At Georgia, I majored in Advertising and also met my husband, Mike.  We have been married for 24 years and have three children ages 21, 19 and 16! Before launching TSC eleven years ago, I was a stay-at-home mother. Previously, I worked in the Strategic Events department at The Coca-Cola Company.  My hope in starting The Social Class was to fill a need for the young people of our community to glean the invaluable life skills of  a modern cotillion, while enjoying a fun social experience with their peers.  Thank you so much for entrusting your children to me!
